Sesame Seeded Pork Chops

Sesame Seeded Pork Chops

This entrée is ideal for entertaining because you can prepare everything ahead of time and have the dish in the oven before the guests arrive, with time to take care of the rest of the meal.

4 center-cut pork loin chops, ½’’ thick
4 tablespoons Dijon or honey mustard
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Trim away excess fat from the pork chops and spread a tablespoon of mustard on the sides of each one.  In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, parmesan, sesame seeds, parsley and garlic powder.  Coat each chop in the mixture and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.  Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.  Serves 4
