Cherry Custard Trifle



Cherry Custard Trifle

This beautiful dessert is a potluck pleaser and can be made in minutes, ready to serve. 

1 can of cherry pie filling
15 oz. can of crushed pineapple, drained
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 carton of whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
1 angel food cake

In a large mixing bowl, stir together the pie filling, pineapple, milk and whipped topping. Slice the angel food cake into bite size pieces.  In a trifle dish, layer a third of the angel food cake bites and spoon a third of the cherry custard on top and repeat. Top the trifle with the remaining cherry custard. Refrigerate until serving time. Serves 8 – 12.
