Strawberry Chiffon Pie

Strawberry Chiffon Pie

Talk about easy as pie.  Within minutes, you can stir up this pie recipe and have it in the refrigerator for dinner.  This is one of those recipes you want in your arsenal for the last minute, unexpected need for a dessert.  The recipe can be varied with the flavor of Jell-O and yogurt.  In this version, I used strawberry Jell-O and yogurt, but I have used orange Jell-O and orange tango yogurt.  Or a raspberry combo, or lemon, or lime, or cherry….

1 (.3 ounces) package Jell-O
¼ cup boiling water
2 – 6 ounces cartons yogurt
8 ounces whipped topping, thawed
8 inches graham cracker crust

In a medium size mixing bowl, dissolve the Jell-O with the boiling water.  Whisk in the yogurt and fold in the whipped topping.  Pour the pie filling into the crust and refrigerate for 1 hour or over night. Serves 6.
