The traditional Hot Apple Cider is a holiday classic.  Take it up a notch to this more sophisticated Pomegranate Cider.  With only a few ingredients, your house will smell festive and you’ll have a wonderful hot holiday drink that could become your new tradition.

64 ounces cranberry juice
64 ounces pomegranate juice
1 tablespoon whole cloves
1 orange, sliced

In a large Dutch oven, combine the two juices.  Stick the whole cloves in the orange slices and slip the slices into the mixed juices. Simmer the mixture until hot and ready to serve. Serves 10 to 15 mugs.
