Herbes de Provence



Herbes de Provence

To buy a small jar of Herbes de Provence can be pricey and it is so easy to make your own. This combination of spices is ideal to enhance the flavors of chicken or fish.

3 tablespoons dried oregano
3 tablespoons thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons savory

In an air-tight container, combine all the ingredients and store in a cool, dark place. This spice blend should be added to chicken or fish before or during cooking to give the herbs time to infuse completely.
