Very Easy Focaccia

Very Easy Focaccia

This delicious bread has so many possibilities.  This is the basic recipe to begin and you can add the herbs that you like best.  Should you have any slices leftover, brush with olive oil, top with a chopped tomato, crumble feta or goat cheese and toast on a baking sheet for a wonderful appetizer or snack.

1 – 10 ounces can refrigerated pizza dough
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried thyme

Remove the dough from the can and shape into a ball.  Pat the dough into a 10 inch circle onto a baking sheet.  Press the handle end of a wooden spoon into the dough making indentations at 1 inch intervals.  Drizzle the oil over the dough, and sprinkle evenly on top the salt, pepper, oregano, basil and thyme.  Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.  Makes 8 slices.
