Party Pecan Spread with Sliced Fruit

This make-ahead-dip is lighter in calories and served with sliced fruit is a welcome addition to any party.

6 ounces low-fat cream cheese
1/3 cup ricotta or cottage cheese
1 cup chopped dates
1/3 cup chopped pecans, toasted
15 ounces crushed pineapple, drained

 In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and ricotta.  Add the dates, pecans and pineapple and mix together.  Chill for 24 hours.  Serve with slice apples, strawberries, pineapple chunks, banana slices and/ or sliced poppy seed bread.  Serves 10
