Brunch Bread Bowls
It’s
always special to be offered an individualized serving. You can customize the fillings to your
family’s liking, bake according to directions, and have an easy holiday meal.
4
crusty hard rolls (4 inches wide)
1/2
cup cooked bacon, sausage, or pancetta
1/2
cup chopped mushrooms
1/4
cup chopped onion
4
eggs
Pinch
of pepper
1/4
cup shredded cheese
Slice
the top off of each hard roll and hollow it out leaving ½ inch shell. Place the
shells and the tops on a baking sheet.
Add the diced bacon, mushrooms and onion to each shell. Carefully break an egg over the bacon mixture
and sprinkle with pepper. Evenly
sprinkle cheese on top of the egg. Bake
350 for 15 minutes or until the white is completely set. Serves 4
